About the role
We are looking for an Account Manager Belgium (Wallonia) to strengthen our presence in the Walloon market. This is a newly created position, reflecting our ambition to further grow our business in this region.
In this position, you will mainly focus on developing and supporting our distribution partners and visiting their end customers; independently or together with representatives from our distributors. You will act as the link between HellermannTyton and the local market, identifying opportunities and translating them into concrete business results.
You will report directly to the Managing Director in the Netherlands, while working closely with both colleagues in the Flemish region of Belgium.
Key responsibilities
- Build, develop and maintain strong relationships with distributors and their end customers
- act as the first point of contact for Wallonia, as part of the Belgian Sales Team
- proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand market sharte
- promote the HellermannTyton brand, philosophy and product range
- monitor market trends and provide input on customer needs and opportunities
About you
You are commercially driven, empathetic and energetic. You enjoy creating long-term relationships that deliver value for both the customer and the company. You are comfortable working independently, yet thrive as part of a collaborative team.
Your profile:
- Proven commercial experience, preferably within a technical environment
- strong relationship-building and accountmanagement skills
- able to work autonomously and take initiative
- fluent in French and English; Dutch is a very nice asset
